FSU Watch (and judge!) party: 98 Worlds ladies SP - SAT, MAY 30th @ 12pm CDT / 7pm CET

Lavrenchuck with a change of edge deduction on the 3 flip , plus lack of cadence into the jump

Lavrenchuk

-3z-2t beautiful :cheer2:
-I want to tell her to stop bouncing up and down during her crossovers!
-2a
-excellent spiral sequence, good positioning and control
3f fall

nice job overall

There must be a lot of eyebrow regret among these ladies 20 years later...I know mine barely survived the turn of the millennium!

Lavrenchuk

.4 on the solo jump

I think she may have been short one rev on the flying camel, but I'm not sure and gave her the benefit of the doubt.

5.1, 5.1

Fontana

-2a
-3z << fall
-3t nice
-nice choreography making use of the musical highlights
-good spiral sequence
-crowd appreciates her combo spin

Fontana

.4 on the combo

Easier solo jump, but good quality on spins, spirals, etc.

5.0 5.6

Minneapolis. :shuffle:

I have to say, it was very surreal watching the event at the Target Center while sitting in my apartment a 15 minute walk away from the Target Center, alternating with checking the news to determine whether or not it was safe to remain in said apartment.

Anyway, back to skating...

Sorry i'm late - I finished the first group and this is what I have:

Vanessa Gusmeroli
5.1
5.6
Tatiana Malinina
5.6
5.6
Zuzana Paurova
5.1
5.2
Joanne Carter
4.9
5.3
Maria Butyrskaya
4.8
5.6
Yulia Lavrenchuk
5.1
5.5

I wanted to give Maria more on the presentation, but one huge error and the axel issues. I forgot how big Lavrenchuk & Malinina's lutzes were.
