It is now 43 dead, and funerals are taking place.
I always wonder.
After the fire in London I believe there were remains that didn't remain. Was they ever counted? I didn't follow up.
The amount of concrete in here is so overwhelming, they could just shut up the dogs. And we will never know if someone is claiming a missing person, because they're more likely to get some form of compensations if they lay low.
An official lower price tag is always preferable - horrible thoughts.
I can't correct you (if you're wrong) because i am reading the same info as everyone else.
Oh. That would be hard to be, in my opinion. In any way, it seems you read far more than I do.
My take is that Autostrade per L'Italia's contract is complex; first it must be figured out what caused the accident and who is at fault; then it would be possible to decide what to do next in terms of Autostrade's further involvement, repairs, compensations, etc.
You mght be right, I don't know anything directly.
But, if I have to go by common sense and trust, then:
the contract was, I think, written in 2007, by someone that I conider extremely trustworthy, and definitely an expert in law.
The man double checked, at that time, all his work, with another person that was an economy expert (he died), and would never, in my opinion, have harmed a country, any country.
The expertise of the two has been requested all over the world.
Maybe in ten years something substantial changed, I wouldn't know that.
But say that in an idyllic scenario, it is established soon whose fault it is. Then what?
Unless a private business continues maintenace, the public would have to hire an army, which I'm guessing they wouldn't be keen on doing. Wrongly so, in my opinion.
And as I already mentioned, the issue is much mre extensive than just that one, important, brigde.
-- I'll add, just for fun, that riding that brigde as a child was magnificent, I meant it. The only safety issue was the wind, it could really shift a car, expecially if the windows were opned.
Today they announced that 28mil will be allocated to reconstruction of this section of A10, because it is an important route into the city of Genoa from West-Northern Italy.
Oh my. That's half the yearly budget, ain't it? Unless they seriously dig into tax evasion and various fraudes, which would immidately cost them ten million votes, that's the way to bankruptcy.
Greece was on purpose, right?
