That's it. Michelle needs to go back to Frank. Train compulsory figures, then headline that Compulsory Figures event Janet Lynn and Trixie Schuba are spearheading. Maybe she can even convince Boitano, Browning, and Chan to also participate

. . . I don't care if she wins. I bet it would be great core training for her, and it would be good for adult skating . . . and . . . and . . . I get to see more of her skating.

Michelle is currently promoting the World Games, which is an international multi-sport event, meant for sports, or disciplines or events within a sport, that are not contested in the Olympic Games.

Michelle should take up compulsory figures, partner with Janet Lynn and Trixie Schuba to raise the prominence of compulsory figures, then try to introduce them to the World Games as a distinct sport . . . Then I can see her skate some more

After ten years of not seeing it (although it's been 7 years since she did it at the Yu Na Kim show in 2009 and 2010), and just not seeing good, held musical spirals for a very long time, this was a real antidote.

She said she fell on a few double axels and was very sore. I’m guessing that she is making herself more comfortable.

Yuna and Michelle together again! It would be a dream come true!

That is a possibility. But I can understand that she feels the need to train again. She explained she needed to come back before her 40's. And about training not just for fun, I think Michelle Kwan is a hard worker, she was indeed. When she does something, she does it well. So, maybe she doesn't have any plan, and just wants to skate again to maintain her form and sees what she can do many years after stopping.

I think Kwan simply got hit with the skating bug again, which may lead to some future opportunities if that's where she wants to go.
