Disappointing result, given three of four jumping passing were two-footed.

Unfortunately, Hase and Volodin were tight in the short program and had the lift issue. Either or would have been enough.

Anyway, it's pretty much my dream podium - wanted these 3 teams to medal, didn't really care in which order

They did win the free but to be fair their short wasnt great whereas the Japanese team were great in the short so I can see this result!

Kind of feel the German’s should have it, but that lift made the difference.

Fair result with the lift error on the Germans and their issues in the shirt which gave the Japanese team enough room for a few errors. I think good judging.
