Could be, but I feel like it may have accidentally attracted Boston negative karmic energy, lol.
Roman did say they weren't told what the messages were for originally. I wonder if they got new messages for the FS or if it was all done before the competition started. PerMich and LauEth both definitely should have known better than to reference other countries hockey teams in public in Boston. Especially the Leafs.

I'm gonna need a skater (preferably one who's not fighting for an olympic spot) to make their message "Go Yankees!"
Hmmmm... Olga Mikutina trains in Montclair now...

The other option would be "Go Lakers!" if we're referencing old sports rivalries.

Watched the top group this morning, as I was falling asleep watching live, and it's interesting that most people here think MiNiki were robbed. I love them completely, but I thought they were overscored on PCS, and M/K should have won by more.

Last time I watched the German's LP, I adored it, but noticed someone here say there was no choreo. This time I paid more attention, and guys... there's no choreo. Almost at all. They just have big music. The elements are lovely, but there's just skating around in between. The Japanese are doing stuff, and at much greater speed, too.

Anyway, love both teams, and I think MiNiki could blow the field away next year, with better programmes.

Just one opinion, but in the arena, the Germans were much more compelling. The energy was amazeballs. They were a halogen lamp. MiuKih were great, but more 60 watt. They provided light, but not as much as MiNiki.

I totally agree, but I also think it was the reverse of the short when the crowd was solidly with Miu/Kih.

Skate Canada inexplicably posting on Instagram a “mission accomplished” caption over “securing two spots”. Many things they could have said but losing a third Olympic spot that was easily within reach is not in any capacity mission accomplished.

I know it’s not like, the CEO or something running the IG account, but read the room a little guys.
I think it’s realization that the 3rd spot was not going to be easily obtained.

Wouldn’t Canada have had to send a team to Beijing to get the third Olympic spot that wasn’t at Worlds in Boston?

Who could we have sent to secure it?

As much as I like them, Canada’s 4th place team probably wouldn’t have even made the FS in Boston.

It’s definitely a loss for Worlds in Prague though. We could have had 3 spots there.

I don't think so because Canada already had 3 teams in the comp and they all made the FS so in theory Canada could have had 3 straight entries to Milan.

And this is where IJS’s implementation makes no sense. If one team is slightly better in SP and second team is slightly better in LP, LP victors should win.
