I want to know how Gabby Izzo went from being fourth at US Nationals in singles to skating Pairs for Austria.

I feel like there's a story I missed there.

It sure did. I did manage to have a quick nap though which was nice.

I'm wide awake after that crazy Women's SP.

But, Bandit has been fed, it's a warm day here so the patio door is open now - so warm that we actually have a severe thunderstorm warning for the area, and I have wine & a meat/cheese/chips charcuterie set up for this event - not evening yet, but late afternoon/early evening, so I don't feel badly about drinking some wine, lol.

That 2 hours went really fast

It was only 90 minutes for us to get back for the Remberance Ceremony. Very moving but... I wouldn't want to have been the skaters waiting to take the ice listening to that backstage, especially Izzo. Hope she's wearing waterproof mascara.

Ranked 3rd at Merano Ice Trophy & 6th at Challenge Cup 2025. Izzo is originally from Boston and competed in singles representing the USA until 2023.
