So, I did say this group qualified for "majority in same color" on our bingo cards. We weren't specific about what color combinations in order to give people a decent shot at getting a bingo.

Conti/Macii: It's honestly distracting that in pairs the guy is the one who is 1000 times more artistic than the girl. Sara is a good skater but so stiff and less polished than Nic.

Just when I think she looks better, she'll throw in a awkward movement.

I was so excited by the skating and probably by that Toxic performance that I fell asleep for the second group. Completely just passed out.

The French team leader Fabrice Blondel has about as busy a schedule as any other person in skating, and he was always sitting right near me at Skate America for all of the competitions or segments without French skaters. He watched everything and was really into all of it. True fan.

It's a family thing. His parents, or at least his mother Christine, attend every national and international competition and they started long before his competitive year. She is the most discreet fan ever but she is always there.

I was about as excited as you by the pairs competition, so excited I had to leave the rink not to fall asleep in the press stand.

I noticed you and others were gone from the thread .

As cholla said, the rink also thinned out. Angers restaurants close early, and I'm wondering if the restaurant lobby asked the organizers to put pairs last to boost outside dining. Last year, Andrey skipped pairs to go to the grocery store and get food for the rest of us. This year, we walked for half an hour in a circle trying to find an open Carrefour .

And my weird luck continues. Thursday, I had someone die on my plane. Yesterday, when I was walking back to my Airbnb, there was a horrific car crash right in front of me. Thankfully no one dead. Maybe it's better for everyone to avoid me today! I'm apparently as toxic as the Kovalevs.

I enjoyed that from Alisa and Misha. Wonderful unison in the step sequence and very good in the spins as well. Lifts were very well done. Good job!

I really hope this partnership works out, especially for Alisa.
