Christmas song from the Russian cartoon series Masha & The Bear. Look for some pairs skating by bears and singles skaters by hares and squirrels (and Masha of course) in it.
The song starts around the 0:50 mark, but it's enjoyable to watch the whole video. It's about 3:30min.
I had been humming this song most of the day and couldn't remember the name of it until just a few minutes ago. I fell in love with this song the first time I saw the movie, Fly Away Home. It's such a beautiful song, especially with Mary Chapin Carpenter singing it. She has a beautiful voice.
I've been obsessed with that song since I heard it played during the closing credits of "Mockingjay"
I guess I shouldn't admit that I'd never heard of Lorde before?!
Hearing it in the theatre gave me shivers.
Madonna released 6 tracks from her upcoming "Rebel Heart" album to iTune this morning. The full album will be released in the spring with a total of 19 tracks. I have to say that "Ghost Town" is the only song out of the 6 released thus far that I like. The album cover head shot is beautiful, but her face is way too photoshopped; Everyone knows that she's in her 50s now and not some 20 something anymore.
I'm at work at the moment, and got my "Best of Bow Wow Wow" CD out of my locker. My coworker loves 80's stuff, but had never heard of BWW. She looked at me quite dubiously as I chortled along to "Louis Quatorze"
I have Johnny Mathis playing over and over in my head "Do you hear what I hear?" It is drowning out my co-workers and everyone else...I guess I'm on holiday.
