They say (I don't know who these "they" people are) that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. But geesh, sometimes I wish it would have just killed me! Life should not be this hard. You have enough on your plate with a sick husband, to have to fight with the insurance company is just not fair!
Had the meeting today with the doctor and social worker. Didn't know what to expect, especially after the voice mails from the social worker. The meeting went well, my husband is officially on the waiting list for the hospital in Boston! However, the hospital doesn't anticipate any beds being available until late April. The doctor believes my husband will be able to be discharged by the first week of April (the latest). He will have to attend a full time outpatient program until Boston is ready.
