I agree with everything. How is that possible?

Agree with most of this but Pate/Bye will finish behind Wolf/Tsar and Brat/Som and one of them will go to 4Cs. And Sophie JVF will finish ahead of Elyce but she’s going to Junior Worlds anyway.

I debated that one and originally had WolfTsar on the 4CCs team, but then I thought about Igor's politicking skills and PateBye have the higher international scores, so I wound up going with them over the two MIDA teams.

Well, if we’re just considering coaches, maybe Tanith gets sympathy votes?

Seriously, I’ve always thought Z/K, while being good in themselves, benefited from Igor’s politiking experience, but now that Z/K are so clearly his top team I expect P/B to sink until they give up.

We know her PCS are not there yet but SJVF will most likely have the following

SP triple axel / triple toe

Free triple axel / triple toe, triple axel and a quad.
She is stupid if she goes for the 3a+3t in the SP at Nats. That is an inconsistent element at best for her. She'd be better off going for a solo 3a in the SP in St Louis.

Okay, I'll play:

3. McBeath/Parkman ^+

# 4CC and Worlds berth after C/B decline/retire
^ 4CC

My suspicion is C/B and Brown perhaps both exit the stage after Milano/Cortina. 🤷‍♂️

If I had a woman spirit animal, this must be her, because she mimicked everything I think about this crop of US women.

Right down to even mentioning Von Felton and Emilia N as I have…. She too says there’s always a surprise, and these two juniors could be the surprise.

Although it’s funny, Alysa is the world champion and the current Grand Prix champion. She is in my eyes considered the best in the world. Not Kaori. Not Mone. Alysa. The only way she’s being left off the Olympic team is if her something happens to her body. Her chances are not 99.9%. They are 100% as she is the world champion and the current Grand Prix finalist – the best in the world.

This woman was really good except she cannot remember Josephine’s name. LMAO.

PAIRS: I think Efimova & Mitrofanov will successfully defend; followed by Kam & O'Shea; McBeath & Parkman; and Shin & Nagy. Shin & Nagy will join Kam & O'Shea in Milan, while the top 3 will be named to Worlds. Liu & Bedard will head to Four Continents.

MEN: I'm just hoping for a good competition for silver to 6th. Brown has been underwhelming on the Grand Prix and while his flight to Milan is probably all but booked I'm not convinced in the least that the silver medal is his. Solid and quad filled performances from either or both of Hiwatashi and Torgashev should beat him, but I actually think Lucius Kazanecki will jump his way on the podium. My money's on Torgy ultimately going to Milan when all's said and done.

I'm probably just as, if not slightly more, excited about the junior men's competition, which I think will be a little more exciting and unpredictable.

LADIES: Mathematically, the title should be Amber's if she goes clean and hits her 3Axel in both programs. I'm hoping Amber can pull off the threepeat! I agree w/everyone that Alysa and Isabeau will be her Olympic teammates.

Agree that Bradie (who I predict will win the pewter), Starr, and Sarah will go to Four Continents.

I also agree that Sophie Joline von Felten will turn some heads this week. As foolish as it may be, I'd say she has nothing to lose by going for broke here. (Watching her on the Jr. Grand Prix I never got any indication that she was going to back off on the 3Axela dn quad attempts.) I would not be totally shocked if she is able to jump her way to as high as 5th here!

I do like Nemirovsky a lot as well -- I'm just not as convinced at her ability to deliver in high pressure situations yet.

Your thoughts...
