There is a new Gofundme to help Emmanuel Savary compete in March in Europe. Anyone know what competition that'd be? It's sad that US Figure Skating can't pay for him to go.
USFS added the Maria Oleszewska Memorial in Lodz, Poland to its Int'l Assignments page earlier this month, so that would be my guess.

Happy to see that they met the funding goal, but definitely sad that USFS cannot cover costs.

Found this from Kai Kovar - https://www.instagram.com/p/DGCQM2IPLlg/ "When one triple axel isn’t enough"
A beautiful pair of triple axels, but I was half-expecting this to be be Ilia's 4T+3A+3A+3A+3A+3A+3A from last week, lol.

Jimmy made a decent case for himself, though.
Yup. If USFS is on the fence, they have to pick the guy who has the best chance of being in the penultimate group. If Jason’s 3A is still MIA, I’d send Jimmy. Word on the street is that Jimmy is hyper focused since the crash. A healthy, hyper focused skater would be my choice.

Just out of curiosity (and at the risk of getting ahead of myself): is the USFSA bound somehow to abide by the order of its Alternates List? Camden is 1st alternate, while Jimmy is 3rd, BUT Camden's score here is hard pressed to make the FS cut at Worlds.
Camden admitted in his mixed zone interview that he's dealing with a back issue. That should be enough for the Int'l Committee to decide he isn't healthy enough for Worlds.

The question would then be what about Max - is he even skating right now? Would he want to compete at Worlds? We may have a better answer to those questions once the Worlds entries come out next week, when we see who the USFS has officially listed as substitutes.

Or this all may be moot if Jimmy doesn't skate well in the FS tomorrow and the USFS is back to just leaving Jason in to hopefully make the FS.

Honestly? I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy gets the call to go to Worlds. I think he only needed to post a good short program score because he only needs to make the free to keep the third spot, right (as long as Andrew and Ilia make up 13 or less)? Jimmy did that at 4CCs.

Well, the Int'l Committee has to jump through a couple of procedural votes to make that happen. I do agree that putting down a solid SP is the key, but I think Jimmy probably also needs a solid FS and a 240+ score to get the Int'l Committee to do what is necessary to put him on the team.
