The Carhart siblings are Adrienne (senior - skates with Sasha Kolosovskyi), Helena (junior for one more season - skates with Volodomyr Horovyi), and Marian (intermediate - skates with Drew Bledsoe).
Drew is the QB ;) - Marian Carhart/Denis Bledsoe have a Zorro FD in Intermediate this season.
The youngest Carhart is Marian, who skates Intermediate Dance with Denis Bledsoe, who was born in Georgia USA. He later moved to Russia with his mother, but returned to the US a few years ago. I'm sure they will continue to skate for USA.
Hope you enjoy the competition - looking forward to IDC's coverage again this year! :)

Must have been a mistake originally because he's listed as Azerbaijan now in the Senior RD starting order: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/nonqual_results/2023/32288/SEGSO027.html
Definitely must have been a mistake, but I did copy the original start lists out and post them in the KnC thread for posterity, lol.

Whoops! I'm showing my age and Pac-10 upbringing there, lol!

No, that's the oldest Carhart sibling. They (Carhart/Kolosovskyi) skated for Azerbaijan last season, but he is listed as a member of the Israel Ice Skating Federation on the Dallas Classic senior entries list.

I believe there is also a 4th sister, but she is a freestyle skater not an ice dancer (though I could be mistaken).

Denis Bledsoe. Drew played football for the NE Patriots.

Marian Carhart and Denis Bledsoe are listed as representing Azerbaijan in the Intermediate category. Could be a mistake as well, or are they switching federations?

Good catch! It seems a bit odd that they would switch at such a low level (Pre-Novice) but I guess we'll find out soon enough...

I hope youngest Carhart and partner will rep the U.S. They have a lot of potential.

At Chesapeake, they were listed as repping their FL club, but the comp was not NQS. They won the trophy given to Int Dance winners and were very happy and gracious. And the Carhart mom is very nice, too. :)

Looking forward to finally getting more ice dance music announcements this weekend - I feel like barely anyone has announced FD music yet
I feel like barely any of the top senior or junior teams have made music announcements yet. Between this weekend, LPIDI in a couple weeks and the Quebec Summer Championships in 4 weeks, we'll really get a ton of music announcements/reveals, and I'm excited.

Everything has been fixed -

Adrienne Carhart is now listed as representing Florida Everblades FSC. Same with Marian Carhart & Denis Bledsoe.

Ivan Desyatov has gotten his release! Yay!

Yeahhhh... This was reported in this very thread on Friday night...

Thanks @AYS - I know how happy you must be :) - here's the full text of Isabella Flores' public post:
I have something exciting to share:

Vanya has officially been released!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

We are now looking forward to the possibility of a great international season. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off of our shoulders; we are energized and beyond ecstatic to get to work.

We would not be moving forward without the support of this beautiful community. Truly, with your help, we made the seemingly impossible, possible.

A big thank you to all who contributed, shared, and supported— we are so grateful ❤️
Here's hoping they have a positive season debut at Dallas Classic and will be added to the ISP soon!

I'm a bit surprised to see Jonathan Rogers back with a new partner: when he and Vanessa Pham split I'd got the sense from their posts that he was moving on. But more teams is a good thing, and hopefully she will find a partner soon too.

Also a bit surprised that Wolfkostin and Chen appear to both have stayed at MIDA. I guess that split was more amicable than it initially appeared.

Vanessa had a profile on IPS in the spring, but it since has been taken down. Going to hope that means she found a partner and not that she chose to retire.

I am surprised Chen continues. If he is serious about ice dance career he should have stayed with Wolfkostin

Can't say I agree. They were certainly an exciting team when they hit, but more often than not, they missed a major element in one of their programs at every competition - that's what kept them off the Jr Worlds podium in 2022, but it was hardly the first time they botched either the RD or the FD that season and the trend continued last season.

I maybe wrong since I was not following them too closely but it is Chen who messed up primerely I believe. If this new guy sticks around it is a win for her.

You can have two talented dancers who for reasons of innate style, body movements or personality don’t work well together once things get intricate and difficult. Hoping that’s the case with W/C and they both do better elsewhere. Also hoping that whatever the hell happened with Tsarevski doesn’t mean he’s a Bilodeau-type partner.

I've always assumed Jeffrey Chen is serious. He moved at quite a young age for the sport. His family is obviously familiar with the commitment required. His goals on his IPS profile years ago were Olympic goals.

This is obviously a stage of life when many people's goals evolve & change. I simply haven't read anything to imply his have done so.

LOL - Carhart/Bledsoe are now listed as representing Azerbaijan in the Intermediate pattern dances live scoring. Who knows what country they'll wind up representing by the time they hit juniors, much less seniors (if they're still together by then, lol).

It may be that he wanted to continue his junior career, but she had aged out.

And, now, today, looking at the results, we have Carhart/Kolosovskyi BOTH listed as representing Azerbaijan, while Carhart/Bledsoe are representing Florida Everblades FSC - so, it looks like they've finally got it right. Quite the entertaining back and forth getting it right for the Carhart sisters and their partners, lol.

Results from the Juniors at Dallas Classic -
Neset/Markelov 168.00
Peal/Peal 141.99
Hauer/Starr 138.85
Lavrova/Rogers 137.79
Pedersen/Chen 135.99
Mullen/Mullen 135.00
Calhoun/Veselukhin 125.20
Ilin/Cain 121.54
Cui/Eckert 115.49
Renzi/Lissauer 114.21
Epps/Gilman 111.16
Stapert/Korotcov 108.06
Cialella/Goldshteyn 97.90
Melillo/Mintz 87.77
Hagan/Hagan 71.10
Obviously, we haven't seen Carhart/Horovyi, but these results certainly indicate a pretty wide gap between the top 7 junior US teams and the rest of the junior teams. It wouldn't necessarily surprise me, unless there is a major jump in scores over the next 2 weeks before Lake Placid, if the top 6 teams here plus Carhart/Horovyi each wind up with 2 JGP assignments each and the rest of the teams get to scruff it out to earn a spot to Nats.

Well, it's fairly common to have big changes in scores after debut skates so a lot can happen, but there's a nice number of teams in the mix anyway, whatever happens.

I can imagine a mess if all the Carhart sisters represented different countries :D
