TMZ received an alleged ransom note for Savannah Guthrie's mom. They did pass it on to the police but they also made it public. I hope they don't get her mom killed.

I don’t think that the judge is going to grant either of these requests.

His Wikipedia article has tables that do a good job of showing all of his charges in the federal case, New York, and Pennsylvania.

I figured that the murder charges would probably be dropped at the federal level. The stalking charges would be at the federal level because they involved crossing state lines.

Assuming the case doesn’t get dismissed, Mangione getting charged for state crimes in Pennsylvania was for his own stupidity. If he had just surrendered (and then insisted on getting a lawyer), they probably would have just transferred him to New York and not even bothered with their own firearm charges. But he apparently thought it would be a good idea to lie to law enforcement and even forge his name.

I heard about that .. not exactly fun for cops to go to prison. Crazy. I really hope they do get suspended without pay.

Sounds like things are happening with the case tonight. SWAT units were sent out to find and detain a person of interest. They have been detained. LE are now searching an area related to the person south of Tuscan. No Nancy though. I need to go to bed but I want to know what is going to happen!

The pictures and video should help. With the Kirk assassination, Tyler Robinson was found and in custody within a couple of days of the surveillance photos being released because his family instantly recognized his facial features. Granted in that case, they also had the murder weapon, fingerprints, and (I think) even touch DNA, but still - having something visual helps.
