If they hadn't sliced a few of them I wouldn't have thought that you could eat the glossy ones. How do you get them that glossy? Amazing!

I scrolled through that instagram for about 5 minutes and the magic just never stopped. There was a tempered chocolate centrepiece that had snowmen on it and it was perfect. She probably makes the prettiest cakes I've ever seen.

Since the Instagram cakes are interesting to people, here is what i have been able to figure out.

It is most likely a technique called mirror glaze, it seems to usually be done with normal chocolate, but she does it with white so she can make it pretty colors.

It sounds like you make a cake then make a mousse type fluffy thing. You fill a silicon mold with the mousse then put the cake in the mousse, then freeze it. Supposedly this gives you a very smooth even surface to pour on to.

So that is the basic idea... she is just playing on God Mode.

I like a ones that look like furry velvet as well.
