At the risk of getting :angryfire......

NAY - I did Girl Scouts from 5th-8th grade. Did all kinds of activities including a bit of camping, hiking, fishing, and canoeing. I felt that it was an invaluable experience for girls to learn from one another and be mentored by adult women. I’ve been told that those were the same benefits from the Boy Scout side from boys spending time together and mentored by adult men. I think there’s a value that boys and girls get in spending time together separately that they can’t get in coed situations.

I also don’t like the stereotype that there are activities that are for girls to like and activities that are for boys to like.

If Trump pulls out of the nuclear deal with Iran, would the U.S. reputation and ability to make deals with friends and foes alike be permanently damaged? They already ripped up the TPP and would like to do the same with NAFTA.

BTW, I totally agree that there should be opportunities for boys to have their own group and girls their own if they so choose!!!! Good grief.

NO - There’s usually not enough trans/neutral/gender dysphoria kids in an area to make getting their own troop viable. Maybe I am an idealist, but I think we should allow individual Boy/Girl Scout troops to be welcoming.

BTW, I had a chicken sandwich - no fries. I will try and be adventurous with the Filet-O-Fish later. :)
