From that video, Kate Bush was an excellent dancer who had great body awareness. Whoever skates to it has to have that ability for me. The only ladies skater I think could compare would be Eunsoo Lim but I don't know if she has the "cool" factor to pull it off properly though.

Random thought of the night...I want nothing more than for a ladies skater to skate to Kate Bush's "Wurthering Heights". Since she does have a really distinct higher register, the original may not be the most skating friendly, so I'd accept a cover but nothing that sounds like a coffee shop compilation or a knock-off of a 50 Shades of Grey track.

I am still sulking because we will never see Patrick and Yuzu doing a joint ex to "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better"... or better still the six of them from the Olympic last flight.

I need a Radio Gaga program. Add Let's Dance and Another one Bites the dust to have a whole thing. :p Not a Queen program. A Tribute to Bowie & Queen. I need that.

If we're talking Lady Gaga, I've always thought Sui/Han could do an amazing SP to "Poker Face" or "Bad Romance".

What?! MarieM was definitely not talking about Lady Gaga - or are you telling me you don't know Radio Gaga and Queen?!

I do know Queen! I’m actually going to watch Bohemian Rhapsody soon! I’m a big fan of their hits like “Who Wants to Live Forever” and “Under Pressure” (featuring David Bowie of course).

@Mad for Skating is 16. I'm double that age and Radio Gaga was never exactly at the top of my Queen greatest hits knowledge ;)

Haha thank you for the support here :) My parents always listened to those older songs so I have a basic knowledge of Queen, Journey, Madonna, etc. But it’s Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato all the way for me!

Oh, phew. For a minute there I had concerns about your musical education. ;) (I like "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" best.)

I just saw First Man, and I'd like to see someone use that score in skating. Justin Hurwitz continues to do really nice work.

Little Women soundtrack by Thomas Newman. Tara used it the ‘96-‘97 season for her SP. I’ve never seen it used since. I’d love to see it as a LP.

I’d also like to see a pair or dance team use the “Oklahoma” soundtrack.

I got in my head earlier today for some reason the music for The Railway Children. I still absolutely love Yuka Sato's 1994 SP and Robin Cousins' 1980 SP to the music. I don't think it's been notably used in a really long time.

I also wish somebody would do some Glenn Miller or Tommy Dorsey. I love big band music, and I remember when every second person seemed to skate to In the Mood. I wish that music would come back into style (in general and in skating)

If someone is looking for something off the beaten track (Piper and Gilles?)... I present Shockheaded Peter
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOVSp-fYUQc

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shockheaded_Peter_(musical)

I saw it off Broadway and remembered a father taking his kids out of the theatre even before the first intermission. It's a bit dark.

Music is from the Tiger Lillies "This cult British trio has been described as the forefathers of Brechtian Punk Cabaret. They have a unique sound and style which merges the macabre of pre-warBerlin with the savage edge of punk."
