If I may be so bold, this is her best-ever program.

Yes I think the concept is cool but looking forward to seeing it develop more detail.LOved Amber's short program! If I may be so bold, this is her best-ever program. It could use a few more transitions, but the performance quality is already there.
I do need to come here more often. You and I have always been the intellectual compass of this group.
I agree. The packaging was striking and classy. She's going to look fabulous on the Olympics podium.Absolutely stunning and beautiful dress. Fantastic hair and make up. Her jumps look the best they have ever, very secure and solid. Triple axel is the bomb. Great spiral hold. Looking forward to her season.

Not a huge fan of the dress as the weird sleeves kind of make her skating look heavy IMO.
So thrilled her 3 axel is beautiful and solid, it is just what we need to push the women's field in an Olympic year.
It’s not my favorite but the SP dress is VERY Madonna. Spot on.Not crazy about the stuff around her hands and wrist. Breaks the line of the arm, IMHO.

Amber's pre-Nationals media call took place yesterday (recap thread on X): https://x.com/InTheLoPodcast/status/2005801375901630580Her coach, Damon Allen, said his star athlete is in the best shape ever. "She's lean, mean and ready to go," he said.
Her recent track record, Allen said, speaks volumes.
"These last two seasons she's been over 200 points in every event, which is great for her," Allen said. "She's training smart."
Glenn's introduction to neurotherapy in 2024 has played a pivotal role in her climb to prominence.
"That has been 100 percent a game-changer for her," Allen said. "Figuring how to have coping mechanisms to keep her in her zone, where she needs to be. When she makes a mistake, she can figure out now how to brush it off and refocus. The [Grand Prix] Final, she popped the Axel, made the rest of the program amazing. The old Amber would kind of spiral downward; she's figured out how to refocus and get it done."
Allen said he and Glenn "click" and he's excited about being part of the process in her drive toward the Olympics, the pinnacle of the sport in which he fell just short as a skater.
"I was close," he said. "That was kind of my goal as a coach to have an athlete get where I couldn't get, be better than what I was. So very it's been rewarding and I'm very proud."
10/29/25 Access Hollywood video with Amber & Isabeau:On what she has been trying to visualize recently, she mentions thinking of Gracie's win in 2014 and Bradie's in 2018 and the feelings of triumph that ensued heading into the Olympics. She will be satisfied with the result personally as long as she can be on the Olympic team.
She recalls not winning an international assignment until she was 24 and hopes to put her years of experience to use in hopes of fortifying her mental strength. She is actively working with a sports psychologist and is takes pride in being outspoken about mental health struggles, including her personal battles with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. She hopes to be an example for young skaters in the sport, to help them acknowledge their own struggles.
Her advice to first-time National competitors is to "really focus on making the small moments matter, as those will be the ones you'll end up remembering the most. Olympic Nationals are electrifying by nature, and it's easy to get wrapped up in the emotionality of it all."
