The Amber Glenn Realness Appreciation Fan Page

Oh my gosh, I think Christina is fangirling over Amber saying I’ve watched all of your TikTok videos and she’s like stop…

OK, it’s time for us to start a GoFundMe page so I can finally meet Amber since I started her fan page 6 or seven years ago. I’m currently in Denver so I’m not that far from the springs…

@ANL drive down to the Springs to the World Arena! Only an hour + depending on where you are in Denver. Straight shot on I-25 South to Circle Drive/Broadmoor exit. 😉

Listen to Christina say to Amber as they’re coming off the stage I’ve watched all of your TIKTOK’S…

Everybody gets to meet Amber but me… What does ANL have to do around here? Lol.

I think this is the closest to seeing the back of Amber's blazer that I've seen so far. I knew it was backless but I wasn't sure how that was working, looks like whoever made the blazer (Amber said in a red carpet interview she thrifted it) took inspiration from Paul Poirer.

Excerpts:
"The mistakes I made were on the easiest things, which is unfortunate. I think I did 15 of the jump that I missed today in a row, no mistakes, and I'm like, 'Really?,' so it's just a bit frustrating," Glenn tells PEOPLE in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton, where she's getting glam in a Madonna-inspired look for the 2026 GLAAD Awards.
Glenn has had little time to rest since returning to the U.S. from Italy, and thus, little time to process her whirlwind last month.
In her room at the Beverly Hilton, where she's drinking a latte and listening to Chappell Roan, her iconic white Team USA jacket is draped over a chair in the corner next to an open suitcase holding her white skates.
"I got home and had that post-Olympics sickness that most people have, so I've been recovering from that and then it was just back on the ice," says Glenn. "I've been training and this is my first big, fun thing," she says of the GLAAD Awards, an event she's happy to fit into her busy schedule.
Two weeks removed from the Games, Glenn says it's important for her to remind herself how far she's come. "I constantly have to reflect and remind myself that I never even thought I'd make it to the Olympics. I never thought that I would have an Olympic medal or be, on one of my tougher days, still able to make it to fifth, and that's something I remind myself of constantly." [...]
"I've learned to really trust myself, which has always been a struggle for me, to believe in the hard work that I've put in, and I feel like that's the main, big thing that I've learned — that I'm grounded in my message and what I want to do, and nothing is going to deter me from it," Glenn says.

Amber announced her partnership with Kotex on March 5:

Kaori’s words about Amber, this is just so amazing. What a new generation of competitors. I’m so proud of all of them.

FYI, Amber did a live TikTok from her SOI bus last night. Isabeau and Alysa were there along with Jason (a "guardian angel" to the "blade angels") and Sarah Everhardt joined them virtually. Amber really doesn't have the tech down, but she indicated that she would be doing more of these. So, if they have a long bus ride scheduled on the tour, you might want to check and see if she's doing one.

The tidal wave of the Olympic season is over and I'm wondering what's in store for Amber. She's accomplished a lot and shouldn't be ashamed to continue as she has. Or, will it be a Ashley 2016? Ashley was a consistent skaters who accomplished a lot. However she just couldn't put two clean programs together. Then came 2016 Worlds. Most commentators felt her clean short was underscored. Still she came out for long with a steely face. She wasn't going to falter this time and she medaled. Could this be Amber this year? (Alas, I think I say this every year)

Here is another extensive interview with Amber. Ilona Maher and her sisters interviewed her. I hope she is able to have more fun at competitions as she is hoping to do. No clues about her music and choreo choices for next season. She hadn't started on new programs yet when this was recorded. Maybe she'll be inspired by her Anime/Magic love.

KÀ is amazing spectacle but the stunts the acrobats do look so perilous I literally had an anxiety attack when I saw that show for the performers safety. Maybe it's easier for divas who've mastered the 3A? :respec:

Variety article (July 28, 2026):
Following the Olympics, Glenn’s agents got in touch with Magic: The Gathering developer Wizards of the Coast. “And it’s been amazing ever since,” Glenn says during an interview after attending a Wizards event in Seattle unveiling a new collection of cards in support of the Global Fund for Women.
“With Magic, there’s a third space because, for me, it’s like home and the rink,” Glenn says. “And even though the rink, like I have friends, and it’s not like a typical job, that’s work. So going to a local game store where people are just having fun and socializing and enjoying this hobby, whether it’s Magic or board games or D & D or something, I just finally had a third space. Something outside of my everyday training, and that was so new for me.”

great interview and some nice easter eggs for her programs next year (both from katherine hill?)

from what I understood she's keeping similar program themes: short will be an anthem for women that's uplifting and stick it to the man; free will be something to embody freedom of movement and feeling music and moments and audience and self on deep level

"For DRAFTING, Glenn spotlights some of the daily habits, personal memories and behind-the-scenes moments that define her life beyond competition." (Aug. 5)
