Personally, I love Matt and Redmond. I've always been against alliances, so not "honouring" a promise while racing is fine by me. Speaking of which, geez Ashton, tell us how you really feel about it.
I feel like Shamir should have been penalized last week for smashing that window. I'm sorry, but that kind of reaction is not acceptable. I, too, giggled when he got a splinter tonight. Either he's just whiny or he has the lowest pain threshold I've ever seen.
Sorry to see Seth and Olive go. They were a good team. I think I'll root for Matt and Redmond now (hey I'm an old school TAR fan. I was a season 5 Colin fan and he was a total ass, but an awesome racer. I'd rather take that than "boo hoo you cut in line, how rude").
Speaking of "meanies", see I was totally right when I said that team "fun" wouldn't be so fun as soon as trouble came around. I love how Becca went from "OMG FUN METER" to "You're a @#$%^&%#$%"

Oh man, this is good stuff.
Anyway, here's a general opinion and prediction (predictions based on what I've seen so far and my own instinct having watched the race for over a decade and a half; no spoilers whatsoever) of each remaining team in tonight's check in order:
Liz & Michael - good team, not necessarily strong; will do well as long as they are given tasks they're strong at, not good at dealing with adversity together.
Tara & Joey - annoying as hell, weak but lucky; I'm getting Dandrew vibes from them (aka never at the top but always hanging on somehow)
Vanck & Ashton - annoying Ashton, stronger than team #2 but likely to fall apart anytime soon
Matt & Redmond - strong, cool headed (the "we're gonna get ya" was obviously to mess with them and not real), good at playing the game; so far no major weaknesses shown; I'm getting a "contenders but not winners" edit vibe with them.
London & Logan - forgettable, not strong but not weak either; I'm confused as to whether I'm getting a "under the radar contenders" or "they're getting the boot in the near future so don't get attached to them" vibe.
Brooke & Scott - time bomb, enough said; however, based on NEP I'd say they're not leaving the race anytime soon; also, they annoy me more than any other team, so sadly they're likely to last.
Shamir & Sara - another ticking time bomb; they'll either leave the race very soon or make it very far, but unlikely to be finale/winning team contenders
Becca & Floyd - not strong, not weak, ok racers so long as they don't run into trouble, and I knew it was a matter of time before the happy go lucky attitude went out the window (or fanny pack).
Now remember, I've been wrong before many many times

. Who knows, maybe they changed the way they edit their contestants. Then again, it took me 10 minutes to figure out that the girl/girl team would be eliminated last week because they totally got the "going home tonight" edit early on the episode (bummer though, I liked them, they had potential, bad luck).
