Same here. Usually I make sure to not support people like him at all and I also turn off the radio as soon as he comes on. It shows how much I love Tessa and Scott because I have already watched this ex a couple times. However, I feel really bad about it. That's also why I'm really looking forward to seeing the MR exhibition and maybe new group numbers for CSOI.

Then why do you think V/M chose an MJ song to dance to, because they don't know Jackson was a paedophile or they do know he was but they don't care? Which would be tantamount to condoning paedophilia, wouldn't it?

Well, I just do what I think is right. My best friend loves MJ's music (separate the art from the artist) and that's okay for me. Everyone has to do what they think is right.

He was never convicted and tons of people didn’t believe it. Who knows. I was just not big into his music personally.
 
Exhibition is one area I feel Tessa and Scott need different input. I have really enjoyed many of their programs but there seems to be a sameness to them - at least for me. I remember an ex done by Bourne and Kratz where they were like spiders. I know they did a lot of hydro blading so it really worked for them but I want something memorable. Surely there are lots of choreographers who would love to have a chance with them. Again, JMHO.

It will be great if you will show your work and TS will tell there opinion about it (without try to be sweet of couse ;))
 
I am a great fan of Tessa and Scott and have never judged nor said anything even slightly critical of their programs or skating. I Love Them to Pieces. I have also never questioned their instincts for any of their competitive programs. I think they do hip hop extremely well. If after almost 15 years of being their devoted fan I once make a suggestion, it does not mean I think I can do better. I said it was just my opinion. Sorry if it offended you. I have learned my lesson.
 
It’s ok for people to have their opinions. If they don’t like the program they shouldn’t have to lie and say they do. Some people like the program some don’t, it’s fine. What I find weird is the implied tone that they might be supporting a pedophile by skating to MJ. WTH it’s not that deep. I’ve been a MJ fan since I was a little girl and knew all the crazy stories surrounding him. Doesn’t mean I support pedophiles.

Yes, and Bourne/Kraatz, ShibSibs and Elladj Balde have skated to MJ and I am sure many, many more.
 
The case whether MJ is guilty or not is interesting. While I think he is, over the years, one of his alleged victims came out and said that MJ was innocent and his father made him lie. Some people in Hollywood also said that MJ helped protect them from actual pedos.

I am not sure he was either. The man had a lot of money - he put himself in vulnerable positions a lot though but I don’t know if he would ever harm a child.

I like them to collaborate with Shae Zukiwsky. He made some nice choreo with some teams
 
It is too bad that Lane/Razgulajevs are so entrenched with Piper and Paul right now, because even though I have a lot of problems with Carol Lane (and her conflict of interest commentary), I have always thought the choreography coming out of her school was some of the most interesting and unique in the world. I would love to see what kind of exhibition program they would come up with for V/M.

Yeah he was never convicted. That doesn’t mean he didn’t do it, but it doesn’t he did either. All this is just conjecture on our part.

Sam is new for T/S...he worked on short prog. last yr and worked with lots of the movement with MFD on MR this yr. I liked the MJ program much better than many of their ex.programs in the past.
 
Forget exhibitions, I’m still in mourning that we’ll never see their Tango Romantica SD (RD?). They were producing intricate, authentic Tangos in 2007 as teenagers- imagine what they could do with it now? I’m still a tiny bit grumpy they missed Paso season :p

I loved all of the programs she did for Vanessa and Paul and many of those for Piper and Paul. She is really good but found several programs she did for her other teams to be lackluster.
 
I am a big fan of what I have seen of Sam's work and Tessa and Scott can pull it off to the max so I look forward to seeing it when they come to my city.

I really like him as well. I also loved the programs one of the junior teams did this yr. Alicia Fabbri & Claudio Pietr. done by Mylene Girard. I really liked their MR.
 
I think the ISU and serious figure skating fans often underestimate the casual viewer. It’s not all that hard to pick out a difficult character-driven program skated with great flow, accuracy and unison. I watched with friends who knew next to nothing about ice dance and was gratified by how quickly they all caught on with no prompting that their skating was a cut above.

I’m still thrilled by how this whole comeback worked out for them- I must account for at least half of the views of that video :D

Hopefully no "Dancing with the Stars" news....
Maybe she gets to be on the cover of a famous magazine? Or a new promotion deal?
 
Won’t be a retirement announcement- that’ll be done together and honestly they’re such a big deal in Canada it’ll probably be a full press conference when they do. Definitely wouldn’t be DWTS- the producers would only go for the two of them as a package deal, and eTalk would never get to be the ones to announce it. A new fashion collaboration? A presenting deal? A big cover shoot? It’ll be something like that given the show.
