Stars on Ice Spring 2026 Tour - U.S. and Canada

Wow! Can't quite believe my eyes but... Emily & Spencer as well as Torgy have been added to this year's SOI cast!

IG official!

Good news! Does anyone know if they are only doing a few of the shows? The SOI website doesn't make clear. If you click on the skaters link for the individual shows, it only lists the originally named cast members.

And even with her OGM, MK and Brian B were still the COI headliners. Sarah skated with SOI for one season, in 2005, but her skating level had dropped off considerably (understandable since she had been a full-time college student) and audience reaction was lukewarm.

And I'll add that while Alysa is a big draw as an OGM, Ilia and C/B also received a lot of publicity and recognition during the Olys, plus the U.S. winning team gold. There are likely multiple skaters/achievements driving ticket sales.

Kurt Browning spoke about the possibility of Stephen Gogolev performing in the 3 Ontario CSOI shows in Rob Brodie’s latest Substack article (link is posted in the Canadian Men’s news thread):
“He’s an interesting dude. Turned down Stars On Ice because of school (Gogolev is a student at St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto),” said Browning. “It would have been brutal if he would have brought home bronze (from Olympics) and then he just turned us down. But since he didn’t, not as big a deal. But I think he’s going to do three shows in Ontario as a guest skater.”

Understandable that Stephen turned down the tour given his school situation. It's too bad though because I think going in front of an audience night after night would be helpful to continuing to improve his presentation. He took big steps in the right direction throughout his 4 performances at the Olympics and a tour could help keep the ball rolling.
I often thought that touring with Stars on Ice was of immense help to Joannie Rochette in that department. Much like Stephen, she had the technical goods, (in her case for years in competition) but just didn't wow the judges enough to giver her the big marks until she really learned how to perform too.
Many appearances in skating shows certain is helping the Japanese skaters who all know how to get a program across in competition.
