Is this basically the first time ever they've actually had identities on the ice? I know they were stuck with snoozefest programs when they stayed with IAM, but it didn't really get better with Carol.

Still a lot of the same tentativeness and shallow edge quality that should not be there seeing how long they've been together/skating in general, but I actually enjoyed this.

SouFir are getting killed on GOE compared to ReiMaj, ValKaz and WangLiu. Not even getting the job done here.

Also, it started off strong but it's really dragging by the end with the choreo sequence.

Wow, survived the twizzles. But poor levels on the steps and a bit slow. One of the most authentically nineties feeling programmes, and she’s committed to the look.

It was unique and had a real theme. It was so cheesy and had a level of inauthenticity that was endearing.

The timing of the choreo out of the twizzles was so effective.

OMG, I've "danced" to this track playing DDR.

I'm all into this. Much like their pairs counterparts in this competition, they bomb into everything and don't ever look like they have to think about where the other one is.

It could be more dance-esque than two pairs skaters bombing around the ice, but it's still refreshing.

I love this program. Yoshida & Morita skate with so much speed which really works well for the music theme. Totally in love with this RD.

Dance Dance Revolution - great concept for the program, and the performance. Loved the musicality in the midline steps, and the skating skills are always lovely.

Partnering skills. Just look at Takahashi, who couldn't control his speed relative to his partner and was consistently inconsistent in his spacing and location. And now Koleto is an Olympic Medallist.
