So I love the music, the way the program builds, the aggression of it but I also read the rules and the GOE is outlandish

Beautiful from LaLa! I loved it. I am glad they went back to this music. Still not above 120 but I know they will take it. I certainly will. Silver medal! Wish it could be gold here but I know that won't happen.

Gotta love Maddie for finding a way to sneak a real cape in, disguised as a skirt. I get the sense that she knows exactly where every square inch of that thing is during every second of the performance. Evan even has ahold of it in the last lift (good thing, or it could get under his skate).

Much improved costumes but I still don't like her top. I'm glad he's not brown anymore but he still needs more "bullness" about his. She seems to be doing more with the skirt too. I like this program so much more than the last time I saw it.

Much improved by Chock and Bates, but I feel like they are trying to play catch up to the music. It's still not quite there. And I miss something red on their costume. Paint it black but no. These look like practice costumes.

Her costume is much improved, but she does need to add a bit of red back into it.

Agreed, I get it’s the theme of the music but her black on his black makes it harder to see and appreciate her positions in lifts

Stronger performance, and the elements were more cohesively mixed into the choreography than at Cup of China. The level of expression is very high, and Madison makes use of every beat of music.

Chock/Bates already looking loads better than in China, unsurprisingly. These costumes don’t distract from the programme like the previous ones did, but they do feel like a placeholder - I’m expecting to see Madi in something more blingy by the GPF.

Well, I liked Chock and Bates. I'm not that keen on her costume (she's had so many stunning ones) but that's a nitpick. On a screen, it looked like they had good speed and lots of attack. Well done.

C/B's dance has changed a lot since China. New costumes a lot better. The whole character of the piece is working much better, and the ebbs and flows of the musical dynamics works better.

Much improved for C/B, but my attention did start to drift during the final minute or so. Hopefully they can tweak the final step sequence a bit.

The elements were much better here than at Cup of China. It still felt like many stop and start sections instead of like one program, but the execution was so much better. Still the usual criticisms of the twizzles, one foot turns, and step sequence.

One thing I would worry about, skaters aren't allowed to really stop in the Choreo Step, and there were sections where they were standing in place and clapping, which should warrant a !.
