Jacque Tiegs, known by @mysticchic here and a familiar face within the skating community for many years passed away yesterday morning after years of battling several illnesses.

Jacque was a big part in getting my own Skate Talk Online up and running, and she worked as a photographer for the USFSA for many seasons. She will be so missed!

I'm so very sorry to hear this @Tony Wheeler. I have been thinking about Jacque and wondering how she was since I hadn't seen her posting in awhile. My heart is so heavy right now for not making an effort to reach out sooner to make contact with her again. At least Jacque is free from suffering. I hope her cats are being taken care of.

I heard recently about an old friend I'd lost contact with a few years ago who also passed away awhile ago. It's a lesson to act on getting in touch and maintaining contact with people we care about. None of us ever know how long we have. Jacque was so wonderful in the work she did helping you with the Skate Talk Online broadcast. It was great work by both of you putting that production together. Thank you.

R.I.P. to a wonderful person and a talented photographer/ figure skating fan.

My condolences to her family and friends - online and offline. Her presence will be missed.

Wow...I did not expect this.. So so sorry....I got to know her quite well through Facebook but never met her. I was hoping that would one day come to pass. Such a terrible loss.

I did not know Jacque outside of this board but always felt a kinship with her because of her rescue work. Reading these and other posts, it's comforting to see how widely loved she was - she will clearly be missed by many.

I'm sorry that she struggled so at the end, and hope that she had a peaceful passing. RIP Jacque and condolences to all who knew her in real life.

So sorry to hear this. She was one of my FB friends, and we got really close while I was still at Nurse Care. I'm going to miss her very much. My thoughts and prayers for her family and friends.

Rest in Peace, my dear sweet friend. There is some comfort in knowing that she's no longer suffering. ❤

In my FB memories today, it was two years ago when a co-worker brought a little rescue kitten in. It spent the day hanging out with me and of course I posted pics. Many people encouraged me to adopt it, including Jacque. I took everyone's advice and so now I have this beautiful little black kitty, and lots of likes and loves from Jacque on all the kitty pictures. I'm so sad to have lost this wonderful lady, but very grateful to have these memories of her.
