I did the outdoor luge (modified sled, but a half track run) and bobsled rides years ago. I’d do this in a heartbeat! If I have time, I will. I was considering trying the skeleton ride last winter, but it was a high of 12 degrees when I was there so I figured I’d wait until another time.

My preparations are complete. Well, they will be once the grocery order for the coming week arrives and the SkAm snack items I ordered arrive, but my app has confirmed that everything was available and there are no substitutions. I have both York Peppermint Patties and Reese's PB Cups arriving within the next two hours. ANL has to get his own as I'll not be sharing my stash.

I see Holiday peanut M&Ms are on sale three bags for $13 at Walgreens… Damn ….should I DoorDash three bags?

My candy stash is actually two bags of mixed items -

One bag has Hershey's bars, Kit Kats & aforementioned Reese's, while the other bag has the aformentioned York, peppermint flavored Kit Kats & some Hershey's chocolate bells because while I oppose playing Christmas music prior to Thanksgiving I'm not opposed to indulging in my love of all things peppermint anytime retailers want to being selling Christmas candy & treats.

I saw the weather forecast last night and thought of everyone who traveled to LP for this event trying to get out of there while dealing with this new storm coming in.

The roads weren’t as bad as I thought they might be. Before I made it to the northway they were fine. Safe travels to those who still have to make it home!
