I was confused about Paul Rudd saying he was from Kansas about being from Kansas City because of the whole Missouri thing. I knew there was a Kansas City in Kansas as well but had the impression from his talk about the Royals that he was from the Missouri one. Well it's apparently all one metro area so I guess if you are from one you can take pleasure in the glories of the other although I didn't completely clear up for myself if he was truly from the Kansas one or not.

He went to a Kansas high school but the state line road runs right in the middle of the city. When I visit my sister, on the Kansas side, I pop over to the Missouri side to get gas as the fuel taxes are less.

I think rather than "sexiest man alive" it should be "this year's selection by a group a magazine writers to have the good fortune to be considered good looking with well toned body" award.

Sexy is more about who the person is - good, kind, funny, caring for others and the world attributes - rather than the superficial.

Maybe my thinking today is cloud by a novel I'm reading, where the main gorgeous guy is an abuser and generally not a good person.

Being attractive, otoh, is about more including, to some extent, personally. And who I am personally attracted to is about personality as much as looks. But just because I'm attracted to someone, doesn't make them sexy.
