Grease was my all time favourite movie growing up. Sad to hear the news.

I just can't believe it. I grew up listening to ONJ music. One of the first two albums we bought was an ONJ's album. I always find myself listening to one her old songs, regardless of which decade I'm in. When I'm in the gym 6 times per week, one of ONJ's songs from my workout play list - Magic, Xanadu, The Rumour, You're the One That I Want, A Little More Love - will always get played. When I feel down I tune in to her version of "Come On Over" or blast "Don't Stop Believing" to cheer me up. We have many great female singers, past and present, but I always come back to ONJ. To me her voice at her prime will always be the greatest voice ever. She'll be missed. RIP.

I took my daughter to see Xanadu when she was a little girl. She bugged me for a year to make her the dress that Olivia wore in the movie (as one of the Seven Sisters) so I created an exact replica that Halloween. She was so excited. Good memories. RIP Olivia.

My favorite songs of hers are "Magic" and "Hopelessly Devoted to You", but I also loved her song (not the same as the Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac" version) "Landslide" and the charming retro dance number with Gene Kelly "Whenever You're Away from Me" from "Xanadu".

Here is an extremely rare version of the finale of her American TV special with Andy Gibb and ABBA with a true stereo feed that one of the technicians on that special was provided by the sound engineers behind the scenes live as the segment was being recorded. The US TV networks did not have stereo broadcasts then, so this is an amazing sound document matched with the video.

If you enjoy Christmas music, This Christmas is a wonderful little collection of standards sung by Olivia and John Travolta. It's often the first music I put on each season, so joyful and fun. It includes Baby It's Cold Outside - often considered controversial these days, the roles were actually switched the other way originally, and that's the version Olivia and John do.

One of my vocal inspirations from childhood. I will always love Olivia's music and her many contributions to music. I loved her in Grease as well, but her early country music here in the States is what drew me in to her talent. How I wanted to sing like her!

What a loss for her dear daughter and family! It's not surprising news, but it is so very sad. RIP, lovely Olivia.

Very sad to hear. Australia lost Judith Durham the lead singer of The Seekers and now Livvy.

There aren't very many people in the entertainment industry that you never hear a bad word about, but she was one of them. She was a smart business person too, which is hard to balance with being seen as lovable (i.e. an airhead or a pushover) but she did it. Such a loss.

She was only 4 years older than me. That brings morality real for me (people of my age).
