Nathan is cute onboard any ship. Are we sure no photo-shopping 'shipping' is involved with the Nathan in background/Mai in foreground pics?

He's either sincere or seriously knows how to play the fans for his benefit (with Mai Mihara and Nam Nguyen's help obviously).

It seems like Nathan's aged two years in like two months. Maybe it's the hair. He just looks older! I think the Mai pictures are hilarious. He's certainly having fun with that.

The last couple of seasons have been all about the quads for Nathan as he saw that as his way to move up the ladder faster then normal for someone as young and inexperienced as a Senior skater as he was. But this season he knows to be a serious contender he has to work on other things mainly his programs and being just a better all around skater. We know when Nathan puts hit mind to something he usually succeeds.

Yeah, it seems like he hasn't gone back to work with Marina in some time so I'm glad he's taking other opportunities to work on that side of his skating. You know he is aware of the criticism and is a determined guy. I'm so excited to see his programs - I'm hoping we hear what his free skate is. (I'm assuming Nemesis is his SP.)

I have really enjoyed watching Nathan develop- he was a little 10yr old jumping bean with personality when he won Novice and has really pushed the technical content for US men. It's great to see him work on the artistic side as well. But probably very wise to focus on tech first and components later instead of the other way around.

I don't think Nathan is debuting his 4Lo this year. Ice network says he'll be competing with four different types of quads. Sigh... I was hoping he'd be the first to land all five quads in a FS.

That's probably smart though. I bet he tries to repeat either the flip or the lutz, since he already was trying that at the end of last season.

Agreed. I see Nathan going for what I think he was trying to attempt at Worlds:

4z-3t
4f-2t
4f
4z

4t-2t-2l
4s
3a
3z

I think a 4l would really lay it down but he does not have titanium hips, so he should probably pull back on that point and go for improved PCS

Agreed. I have no doubt Nathan can learn 4Lo. But I would prefer to not see him do it, to protect his hips. I would rather see the six quad layout he planned at worlds. Although, I would not be surprised to see him trying to backload that layout a little bit more.
