It looks like an N95 mask, at least at a distance. Lighting candles and saying prayers that Nathan and all of the remaining competitors remain healthy with no further positive tests.

No, the one he was wearing during practice is not N95. He was wearing an N95 before getting on the ice, and witched back to the n95 at the board right after the OP is done

Considering how hard it is to breathe through an N95, he probably had to choose a slightly lighter mask for practical reasons during practice. He definitely seems to be quite careful, though.

OK, I'm crazy neurotic. I couldn't watch this flight because I get so fearful that something terrible will happen to Nathan. So, I rely on my trusty DVR. My mother who I convinced to watch called me and asked me if I was happy after Nathan had skated. When I told her told her I couldn't watch, she told me that I was crazy(...yes, I am). Now I can go back and watch Nathan's performance.

The jacket doesn't look fitted to me, particularly at the waist area. I think it would look better if it was tapered in at the waist. At least it no longer look like Nathan is simply wearing a long sleeves T from the Gap.

The funny thing about practice is that if you do it "at all consistently" you do make reasonable incremental progress.

I've been traveling all day and finally have some time to express my thoughts. Not his best performance today but seems like he's ailing a bit physically. I wish he would let himself play it "safe" and skate an easier layout if he's not 100%. I almost feel like it's better for him to be in school because it forces him to reduce his training load.
