Well, reportedly, she and Brad spend all their red carpet time trying to dodge each other. Must weigh on the mind.

Yeah. I think that's part of it. I tend to think there's some truth to her abuse allegations against him -- IIRC he was a full-blown alcoholic at the time. Not that I think she's blameless. I'm not a fan of the way she seems to have turned his kids against him.Well, reportedly, she and Brad spend all their red carpet time trying to dodge each other. Must weigh on the mind.
Speaking as someone who comes from a family full of alcoholics and drug addicts, no one has to turn the kids against the addict. Don't forget, the divorce happened after Pitt went nuts on a plane and did something hurtful to one of his kids. (He actually hit one of them IIRC.)I'm not a fan of the way she seems to have turned his kids against him.
He was physically assaulting Angelina in front of the kids and Maddox stood up to him / got in the way and escalated the fight between Angelina and Brad.Speaking as someone who comes from a family full of alcoholics and drug addicts, no one has to turn the kids against the addict. True enough. I had forgotten the kids were involved in that incident.Speaking as someone who comes from a family full of alcoholics and drug addicts, no one has to turn the kids against the addict. I don't know. Brad acknowledged mistakes, got help, and got sober. I think his outburst hurt his relationship with his kids, but I think Angelina nuked it. Angelina is no saint.
Saw Conclave yesterday. I only go to theaters for movies I really want to see and this is so worth it. Its beautifully shot and Fiennes is amazing.
I go all the time (conclave is #47 this year for me) but agree with you about conclave. Also I 100% would never have guessed what the plot twist was.Saw Conclave yesterday. I only go to theaters for movies I really want to see and this is so worth it. Its beautifully shot and Fiennes is amazing.
I'm a total Liam Neeson fan. I love some of his most recent movies.

I saw it last night. I thought it was very good and Kate as always was excellent. I didn't know much about Lee Miller but I found the subject fascinating.Has anyone seen Lee?
Why am I not hearing about this? It is a phenomenal story and lead by Kate Winslet. I think I should be seeing this all over the place. Living in Hollywood I don’t even see billboards for it…..
Last week I watched a documentary on Kate from her earliest role in Heavenly Creatures (where I first saw her) until most recently. Showed lots of interviews with her. I think the role I enjoyed her in most was The Dressmaker
Me too! Try not to miss it! Worth every penny!Saw Conclave yesterday. I only go to theaters for movies I really want to see and this is so worth it. Its beautifully shot and Fiennes is amazing.
Oh you have to watch The Dressmaker. It has Judy Davis and also has a Hemsworth in itJust like Nicole Kidman I don’t know if I could pick my favorite Kate Winslet film of all time. There’s so many, but the ones that stand at the top of my mind are Iris, the reader and finding Neverland, I was so excited when eternal sunshine of the spotless mind came out, but I could not get into that much.
Iris was interesting because it was one of those rare instances where two actresses are nominated for an Oscar for playing the same person in the same film.
I don’t believe I’ve heard of the dressmaker.
I am going to Heretic on Thursday. Super excited
Yes.So…Fellow FSU movie fans….the Grammy nominations came out today. I was going to start a thread about it, but I wondered if I should make it about the entire “2024/2025 Awards Season” about the Grammys, Golden Globes, Critics Choice, SAG, BAFTA, and Oscars and we can keep all the awards discussion in one place.
