Me too, me too...they have my favorite RD and FD of the season and I have soooo much respect for both of them, especially Dai - he skates like a true ice dancer. Truly inspiring. I've been listening to La Bayadere all week looking forward to this.Oh it's a lotI so want Kanadai to get this! Thanks @Taso
There is hope. National title isn't automatically a go for Olys. They have to skate very clean tomorrow.Oh it's a lotI so want Kanadai to get this! Thanks @Taso
Oh yes I know, it was just me trying to remain positive!I said "difficult" not impossible! As their fan I have not given up on them. I believe their FD will be
brilliant and no matter which way it goes KanaDai have a lot to be proud of.
such a beautiful program, though la bayadere is among the ballets i loathe. shame about the little trip ups here & there. i think there was new choreography that they haven't yet mastered.Congratulations to Kana and Dai for winning the Free Dance. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to make up for the difference in the RD, and they were 2nd overall with a 1.86 point difference.
1 Komatsubara/Komatsubara 178.17
2 Muramoto/Takahashi 176.31
3 Takanami/Nishiyama 148.29
We will have to wait until tomorrow at 22:00 (JST) to know who will be selected for the Olympics, as the winners of Japan Nationals are not guaranteed the Olympic spot for ice dance.
Here is their Free Dance 112.96 (K/K FD 110.01)
There was an interview with Zueva a few weeks ago where she said they were definitely continuing.Have Kana / Dai indicated whether or not they will continue on after this season? I selfishly hope they will keep going!
I too am really happy we will get to see their programs again at 4CC and Worlds!![]()
This is the article:Asked whether he and Kana Muramoto will continue, Daisuke Takahashi said theyāll do their best through Worlds and then have discussions between the two of them.
Regarding Milan OG, he said heās not thinking about 4 years from now and is taking it one year at a time.
