Me too, me too...they have my favorite RD and FD of the season and I have soooo much respect for both of them, especially Dai - he skates like a true ice dancer. Truly inspiring. I've been listening to La Bayadere all week looking forward to this.

There is hope. National title isn't automatically a go for Olys. They have to skate very clean tomorrow.

I said "difficult" not impossible! As their fan I have not given up on them. I believe their FD will be
brilliant and no matter which way it goes KanaDai have a lot to be proud of.

Oh yes I know, it was just me trying to remain positive!

They still have a lot to give, regardless of the result of this competition, definitely not giving up on them... not me!

Unfortunate about the fall in the RD. To my admittedly uneducated eye, Dai looked unusually tense during the whole performance and it seemed--from the expression on her face--that Kana was doing all she could to get him to relax a little. They seemed just a little "off," for want of a better word. On re-watching the fall, it looked as if their feet got tangled up. (Another way to look at it is that they are skating a lot closer this year than they were last year--really pushing their performance level!)

"It ain't over 'til it's over . . ." Looking forward to a brilliant FD from them. Go, KanaDai!!

[While they were shown in the K&C waiting for their scores, noticed that Kana had a small gash on her left shin. Hoping it was only superficial.]

such a beautiful program, though la bayadere is among the ballets i loathe. shame about the little trip ups here & there. i think there was new choreography that they haven't yet mastered.

No Olympics for KanaDai but the way things played out at Nationals
it is no surprise that K&K were chosen for the spot.

I knew that if they did not win Nationals they would not be selected, heck even Dai said in a previous interview
that the only path for them to have a chance would be to win the Nationals.

I am glad for them that they got 4CC's and Worlds. I can get to see their lovely programs again
and will certainly be rooting for them.

Congrats to them for winning the Silver Medal and winning the FD!!!!!

Asked whether he and Kana Muramoto will continue, Daisuke Takahashi said they’ll do their best through Worlds and then have discussions between the two of them.

Regarding Milan OG, he said he’s not thinking about 4 years from now and is taking it one year at a time.

Despite a minor fall right at the beginning of the program, Kana and Dai are in second place after the RD. Best of luck with La Bayadère tomorrow!

It's amazing how Dai is back to compete at 4CC after nine years, in another discipline and by being still competitive, at 35 in a completely different discipline.

Whether some people like it or not, he is still writing pages of the history of this sport, after all these years!
