For those waiting... the stream has just come alive so it appears that they will be showing the Opening Ceremonies on the Men's SP live stream.

And it’s quite an elaborate ceremony. It’s clear this is a prestige event for the Emirates. That touches me a great deal but I’m not sure why, all these guys in dishdashas and hijab ladies here to honor teenaged skaters.

When they hold Worlds or 4 Cs there I’ll go. :)

So how do you send them a question? (Sympathising as someone who has had to fill dead air on inline programs!)

I can’t use Insta but thanks.

Belgian guy was fab, gorgeous jumps!

After the first 2 of 4 groups there is an ice resurfacing.

Looks a bit like he doesn’t yet know how to handle his long limbs but clean. They do know how to teach jump technique, those coaches.

I like Motilla's program, but he had a really rough time of it. They're saying that he has brand new skates, and one has a defect, so that explains a lot.

I just noticed a sign saying "Rich and Salt Snacks" in the background as Sena was finishing up. I don't know what rich and salt snacks they would be, but I want some.

Some positions in the spins, steps, and transitions not well formed, or extended, but the jumps were nice.

Step Sequence 3
Change Foot Combo Spin 3 (2 after review)

There was a glitch with the music at the top of the program that required Arthur to stop, refocus, and then start his program. Hard to know what impact that had on his performance, but he did finish after the music so I think that was connected.

63-20 = 10th Place
