JGP #3 - Varese ITA - Men's SP & FS

Brooks (USA) landing stuff. This pop music seems incongruous with his classic style and costume, but he's got choreography. Uh oh, into the boards.

70.49

Choi (KOR) skating to dramatic music. All jumps landed, should score well, might even lead, although I preferred Nishino's program.

77.76

Churakov (UKR) - a 15 year old built like a skyscraper, skating to Brazilian samba music (remix). Moves well.

48.12

Sayed (SWE) serving a great head of curly hair and sparkles. Music is okay, if not particularly memorable. He's emoting. Some mistakes here and there.

53.22

Sheiko (ISR) with a really interesting program. Redeemed himself after a mistake on the opening 2A. I like him.

55.72

Motilla (FRA) skating to underwhelming music (maybe it's just not loud enough?). Good skater, too many mistakes to be in the hunt.

53.57

Incel (TUR) skates with a passion I really like. Not as good as what he put out last week, but I like his commitment. Smiling in the K&C.

47.03

Rojkov (GER) skating to a funky Come Together cover. Some interesting moves.

59.26

Li (HKG) skating to Don Quixote. Skates really nicely with some balletic style but not having a great outing here. Well choreographed.

52.71

Park (KOR) skating to La Boheme (Nathan's, not Puccini's). Some mistakes, kind of generic, but okay. Weak spins.

I like the top three, should be a good battle in the free skate.

Overall, I liked the music choices, only a few real duds. Have we ever been Rick Rolled? I love to see an SP to "Never Gonna Give You Up." :D

Kirill Sheiko 🇮🇱
Age: 14
Coach: Julia Sheiko, Sergei Sheiko, Kirill Davydenko
Music: A World of Your Own by Timothee Chalamet

2A - fall
3Lo
Change Foot Camel Spin 3
3Lz+2T
Change Foot Combo Spin 4
Flying Sit Spin 4

Step Sequence 2 - loss of balance towards the end

Unfortunately the sound system did not do well with Timothee Chalamet's vocals. Some nice skating skills, but a couple of unfortunate errors in the program which Kirill was obviously upset by.

-1.00 = Falls

55.72 = 12th Place
