Hand down on the combo aside, what a great skate by Sanchez. Jacob really skates like a senior skater and he looked so confident and relaxed. Good job indeed.

Hiro Kaewtathip, 15, just started landing 3A this season, IIRC. Although he turned out of the jump in his SP today, he landed it cleanly his Bavarian Open SP in late January (won the silver behind Grayson Long).

I’m trying to get caught up and still have the final group to go, but wow there is some really great skating. I’m enjoying this more than senior men (probably helps that there are no quads so less falls). In the lower ranks, loved Lindfors. Also enjoyed Petrychenko and him choosing a good Coldplay song.

No live reports yesterday as I ended up having company + kept running between the men's SP and dance practice at the practice rink. But Nakata and Seo were both great, in different ways. Seo so soft and smooth with a well-built and effective program, Nakata powerful and dynamic and confident.

Baby Brother Lindfors managed to not totally eff up which did not look promising based on the warm-up.

Loved both Marchioni and Imedashvili, too bad they ended up in 25th and 26th. Some young Deniss vibes from Imedashvili.
