nice high 3a to open, really close to boards on 3z-3t but managed, negative GOE on combo spin, nice choreo between his camel and flying spins, felt like he settled nicely into his program by the end, good skate

Beautiful skate from Caleb! Some popping here and there, but a nice quad to start. And really nice presentation and posture.

I think all the doubles he did were intentional. He doesn't yet have a 3a.

2t-3t ouch, 3a flipout, 3r okay, would really like him to work on the flexibility in his back--kinda reminds me of Goebel (who said his stiffness was genetic and could not be fixed--but I hope Blackwell's can be), 2t, sigh, Patrick, sigh, 3a fall. Well, this is going to drop

He is a bit “paint by numbers” even without the technical mishaps I much prefer the other USA skater. Pressure and nerves got to him obviously.

Oh, no doubt. His score here is about 15 points higher than Brooks'. My guess was that Azadpour would have gotten the last TBD spot if Farrington didn't medal, but with a 210+ score, I think Caleb was getting that spot regardless of a medal.

Belgian fed clearly wasn't expecting a medal for Denis! They need to be better prepared with a Belgian flag for him in Abu Dhabi!
