3r-2a, 3z out of a long set-up fell and hit the wall, 3f flip out, 3r-2t-2t, will want to add more transitional content and linking footwork once she solidifies the technique, interesting drum beat piece of music, good hitting the musical accent during the flying camel spin, just a little off on many of her jumps today

3f-3t short on toe and fell, 2f and flipped out. Well, Ko is moving up some more. 2s and turns out. It's like her air awareness is missing, 2a good, 2f fall, 3z fall, 3r okay, really not her day

I'm not sure if Higase-Chen's program had no choreography because she was struggling so much, or because Lori Nichol is laughing her way to the bank.

She's very brave in the K&C. Probably helps to have a giant Pooh Bear to hug!

2a, 3z-2t, looking hesitant on her jumps, 3s fall, 3z-2a-2t with negative GOE, 2r. She doesn't look nearly as confident as in the SP, maybe overwanting it or having stamina issues? unfortunately, she let the performance go as well so it's not there to keep her up in the scores

3f-1t, 3r short, these girls are skating like they have the weight of the world on their shoulders and it's not even the final group, 3s, 3z-2a-2a with good spring on all three, 3z splat, dramatic choreography, 3f-2t very slow going into it, not the redemption competition she wanted

Loved that from Kaoruko -- skating, music, dress, everything. I hope the jumps were around. Most of them looked around to me, but I don't have a good eye for these things.

Eh, I can give a junior woman a pass on skating to Disney, especially when the program is as lovely and well-delivered as it was today.

I'm bummed that she's dropped a place already and isn't likely to medal with that skate.

Four Seasons with birds chirping, 3f-2t with a bit of a wrap, 3r, somewhat effortful performance, you could see that she was really trying and it didn't look completely natural and comfortable just yet, fall on 3z, ah got stuck with the 3z + REP after making mistakes on both lutzes and not able to get a combo off of one of them

Eh, I can give a junior woman a pass on skating to Disney, especially when the program is as lovely and well-delivered as it was today.

I'm not opposed to juniors skating Disney. This junior, I think, is clearly more artistically gifted and could handle and look amazing skating to something more sophisticated. I think a more mature piece of music would help Chao make a greater impact. Though she did a very nice job with the Disney piece today.

I really like Brandenburg's dress, for what it's worth. Not your typical icy blue-white or white-grey that we get with a Four Seasons program.
