Kailani Craine from Australia, Sofia Frank is now representing the Philippines (was on the USFS' ISP list previously), Cyprus - depending on whether they send Zingas or Kitromilis (who did very well at Cranberry Cup), possibly Emmy Ma from TPE if she is still skating.

Czech Republic's Brezinova has already qualified and doesn't need to compete at Nebelhorn, same with Estonia (Kiibus' finish at Worlds qualified them).

France - Meite is only just back on the ice apparently and their other women aren't likely to finish high enough unless they've improved significantly since WTT.

Hungary & Ukraine - huh? Not likely.
My bad - yes, Estonia and Czech Rep are already q, so those countries falls away.

But I completely forgot about Craine from Australia. Surely she's a contender.
And the others you named too.

LOL! Hungary and Ukraine? Yeah, I didn't have anyone in mind, but these countries usually have some good stuff that pops up now and then...:)

So for Women - Nebelhorn - the toughest competition for the six spots might be from:

Armenia - Gubanova - if the transfer goes through
FigureSkatingGeorgia confirmed on their Instagram account on Aug. 31 that Anastasia Gubanova will represent their federation ("Welcome Anastasia Gubanova to #TeamGeorgia!"): https://www.instagram.com/p/CTPGvpBIB3Q/
Alina Urushadze qualified an Olympic spot for Georgia at 2021 Worlds.

Skate Austria confirmed today that the Nebelhorn spot will be decided between Luc Maierhofer and Maurizio Zandron at Lombardia Trophy: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTOolYXCyKW/
This looks to be the case for the 3 Austrian women entered in Lombardia: Stefanie Pesendorfer, Lara Roth, and Sophia Schaller (their ISU PBs: Pesendorfer 150.54 Jr. Worlds, Schaller 130.05, Roth 124.00)
ETA that Olga Mikutina & Ziegler/Kiefer, not surprisingly, already are confirmed for the Olympics according to Skate Austria: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTMC2zMC89F/

Adam SIAO HIM FA, Romain Ponsart and Adrien Tesson (men) and Maia Mazzara and Lea Serna are entered in Lombardia for France.

2021 Nebelhorn Trophy initial entries are not yet published (was hoping to see the lists today :shuffle: ): http://www.isuresults.com/events/fsevent00110963.htm

No Tursynbaeva for Kazakhstan, so she's not actually going to compete this year despite being registered for the Grand Prix.

Skate Austria's Instagram post 2 days ago: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTOolYXCyKW/:
A thrilling neck-and-neck race between our men 💥🇦🇹🤩
Who is going to make his way to Nebelhorn Trophy 2021? @lucmaierhofer or @maurizio.zandron ➡️ Find out next week at Lombardia Trophy 2021!
However, Skate Austria's post re. their 3 women is worded differently: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTROGyNCaRp/
Who is going to be lady #2 to represent 🇦🇹 at the Olympic Games 2022?
Find out in the first battle at Lombardia Trophy 2021, where Sophia Schaller (@sophia_schaller_00 ), Stefanie Pesendorfer (@s_pesendorfer ) and Lara Roth (@laranikolaroth ) will skate their hearts out! ⛸❤️🤩

 I just looked at Krasnopolski's Wikipedia page and was astonished that he's had just seven partners. It seems like it should be so many more than that.
I think there are more, but the partnerships never competed so they aren't worth noting. There's gaps in the years where he was trying out with this partner or that partner, and things just didn't work out.

If I were Austrian and Turkish Feds, I wouldn't be tempted to enter their other skater for the regular Challenger as they did in the original entry list.

Maierhofer was definitely way below Zandron‘s level so far, so I don’t see a problem there.
Turkey on the other side. As said in my original post, if both skaters go, this is might get ugly 🆘🙈
I see Latvia switched to Lace instead of Kuchvalska.
Was surprised to see Kuchvalska got the initial mention. Not that I think it makes any difference who they send in the end.

And both of them are entered for Lombardia Trophy this weekend. Kuchvalska is still listed as a substitute for Nebelhorn so I'd say that the Lombardia results will determine who actually skates at Nebelhorn.

So for Women - Nebelhorn - the toughest competition for the six spots might be from:

Armenia - Gubanova - if the transfer goes through
Belarus - Safonova - if the government permits
Czech R
Estonia
France
Hungary
Italy - Talalaikina - if the transfer goes through, or someone else
Moldova - Gracheva . if the transfer goes through
Poland - Kurakova
Switzerland - Paganini
Ukraine
USA

Surely I have missed some countries?
Gubanova for Armenia? I read earlier she was going to skate for Georgia. Which one is correct?

Demirboga is not happy at all with the judging situation and some of the calls based on his social media, so I would think this is a likely case for Turkey ;)
Agreed. ETA that I do recall that -- after the 2021 Worlds decision was made -- he posted he had no problem with Oktar, just the way the federation had handled the situation.
I had seen it. In a recent post someone had posted Armenia (See the post I was responding to). That is why I asked that question.
My post came after the post you responded to :):
FigureSkatingGeorgia confirmed on their Instagram account on Aug. 31 that Anastasia Gubanova will represent their federation ("Welcome Anastasia Gubanova to #TeamGeorgia!"): https://www.instagram.com/p/CTPGvpBIB3Q/

Men's entry list was updated today and it now shows Basar Oktar as their qualifying entrant with Burak Demirboga as their non-qualifying entrant. I'm a little surprised the Turkish fed didn't withdraw Demirboga completely but there's still another 2 weeks to let the drama play out.

Now we know why no North Korean pair is listed for Nebelhorn: the IOC has suspended the North Korean NOC til the end of 2022, so North Korea is not allowed to take part at the Beijing Olympics.

North Korean athletes will be allowed to participate pending individual approval by the IOC. North Korea as a NOC will not be allowed to participate in Beijing in the same way that Russia has been “banned” from the last two Olympics.

That's what I said: North Korea and not North Korean athletes. But there won't be North Korean athletes at the Beijing Games because North Korea will not let them qualify.

I would say that their Pairs team (or any other skaters) aren't likely to be invited by the IOC to attend as independent athletes. Not only did PRK not send them to Nebelhorn to compete, they weren't at Worlds last year and they weren't seen at all during the 2019-20 season. So, they will have been non-existent for what amounts to 2 full seasons. There are other North Korean athletes who could garner an invitation to compete in Beijing but not in figure skating, in most all likelihood. Possibly if there are still 2 open quota spots after the team event is filled out, they might get asked but they're also going to have to show up at some point this fall - there are two Challengers in Asia - Asian Open Trophy, which is the Beijing FS test event, and the Denis Ten Memorial. If PRK sent them to one or both of those and they skated fairly well, sure, there might be an offer made but I'm doubtful they'll appear at any fall comps.
