My parent's house flooded in Beaumont and they lost all three of their vehicles. They had to be rescued by boat. Their house was built a good 3-4 feet up and it still took on 2 feet of water! My grandmother also flooded. I am going in this weekend to bring my grandmother giftcards and money that my husband's family has graciously given. We flooded in Baton Rouge last year so everyone around here knows all too well what it is like. I know some people still not in their home and it has been 13 months.
