Oh man. That was a horrific landing from Emily Lee. What an awful way to end Trials.

Ugh. You can already see her ankle swelling.Dang Achilles. ?
I kinda like it, it’s so fun and she performs it well.I don't get Malabuyo's floor music. It's so random.
Thank God we got no replay on that. For once, NBC played it right.Oh man. That was a horrific landing from Emily Lee. What an awful way to end Trials.
I have a hard time thinking that - many of them already delayed a year for the Olympics.I wonder if the college women will delay to go to Worlds? Seems like the Olympians might opt out...
I think they said it's based on Breakfast at Tiffany's - I really enjoy it, and she seems so happy during it.I kinda like it, it’s so fun and she performs it well.
But aren't they also including scores from US Championships as well in the calculations?Per Spencer's calculations (from the Balance Beam Situation), if they use the average of the scores over the two nights of trials, the team with Skinner has the highest total. Then Wong, then Eaker, then McCallum. So we'll see if they go with Skinner because of math, or McCallum because she was 4th overall AA.
Collegiate sports training tends to start much earlier than the start of the season, though. My nephew plays football for Syracuse, and he's in training already. 1st game is Sept 4.Collegiate gymnastics doesn't start competing until later in the fall (usually Dec. or Jan.) so they could theoretically go to college and still train for Worlds which I believe are in October but I have no clue who would actually want to do that.
Who knows? They do what they want. They always have. I'm just a spectator. But aren't they also including scores from US Championships as well in the calculations?

Plus, there's that pesky thing called classes - most universities are already in class by the end of September, so I'm not sure how these women could compete at Worlds.Collegiate sports training tends to start much earlier than the start of the season, though.
