I forgot that there is still a World Championships in October. It’s very unusual to have a worlds after the Olympics in gymnastics.

Collegiate gymnastics doesn't start competing until later in the fall (usually Dec. or Jan.) so they could theoretically go to college and still train for Worlds which I believe are in October but I have no clue who would actually want to do that.

Per Spencer's calculations (from the Balance Beam Situation), if they use the average of the scores over the two nights of trials, the team with Skinner has the highest total. Then Wong, then Eaker , then McCallum. So we'll see if they go with Skinner because of math, or McCallum because she was 4th overall AA.

Collegiate sports training tends to start much earlier than the start of the season, though. My nephew plays football for Syracuse, and he's in training already. 1st game is Sept 4.

Who knows? They do what they want. They always have. I'm just a spectator.
