Pinzaronne reminds me of many of the Finnish gals in her styling and some of the jump technique.

Nina's jumps go nowhere and even with the transitions in and out, she still barely gets positive GOE which is fair.

But she's a really beautiful skater, and I liked that the program had some 'breathing' moments of the old school days rather than plowing through everything with mindless movements.

Really solid skate. Nice polish on the program. Needs to work on the skating skills a bit as the cross-overs looked a little laboured.

She looked similarly shaky at Autumn Classic where I thought maybe she had been injured?

I give Chiba credit for not choosing super slow elevator music but this version of Dark Eyes is too fast for her and makes her look like she’s crawling. Two big errors and a weak combo won’t do her any favors. Layback was the best element.

Nina is a very nice skater to watch, but objectively she's not exactly an outstanding skater. Very weak ice coverage.

Mone is kind of great, but one can't miss two jumping passes and hope for the best. She's fast and powerful across the ice.

Still liked Higuchi the most so far.
