I’m assuming this was aimed at me? I’d love to see your case for how I don’t like Plushenko. Your other charge is also ridiculous, childish delivery aside. You may not like Plushenko, but that doesn't justify being a complete asshole whenever his name is brought up.
By the way, I love Plushenko. I even like all his Edvin Marton programs.

??

As for Zag and Med, they didn't need the quad because they could a) do the harder jump combos, b) backload the jumps for the bonus. The ISU changed the rules and the juniors started jumping quads and 3As. One thing the team at Sambo-70 does way better than Mishin is quickly adapt to the changing environment. He's slow to adapt programs to new requirements. He was with Plushenko. Remember the "transition" issue. Liza's programs still don't have many because he doesn't think they're important. Mishin is a great technician and teacher, but he doesn't study the play book for what is going to get the most points until he realizes his skaters aren't winning in Russia where it really counts in regard to going to Euros, Worlds and the Olympics. Which is why Liza missed the last two. Whether Zag and Med master either a quad or 3A remains to be seen. Certainly, Eteri and company can teach the jump. It's up to Zag and Med to decide if they want to learn it. I'm pretty sure both are doing the in the harness at this point.
