This team needs something that blows everyone away next season a la P/C in 2015 or I think they are toast. They should've withdrawn from their second GP, missed the Final, and done a complete reworking.

But it's Babs and she stuck with that dumbass I Will Survive all the Olympic season, so I don't know what I expect.

There's a lot of beautiful understated skating and they are the king and queen of edge control with really difficult counter-rotation and quick rotation in and out of elements, but it doesn't stand out here to make the judges want to push up any of their scores IMO.

Are GuiFab tired? I see some hopped turns. Not enough to prevent them from winning, but the edges aren’t what I’m used to.

I don't know why G/F are given so much s*t - this program flows really nicely and makes sense.

Plus they are clearly the best skaters by some margin.

Last year at Worlds, I tried to figure why Gui/Fab don't get enough love from the judges. I decided that it was due to a combo of her "looking" taller than him, non-over the top personalities and choreo that doesn't highlight their strengths at all.
