Ive wondered for a while...
When you see GOE with a wide range (example James & Cipres SP twist at Euros). Most judges saw it as +3 or +4.. and then one judge goes -2. Will an official step in and question that judge why did you see it as a -2 when no one else did? Because how do you explain to public who is learning the system.. that it was a near perfect twist, but oh yeah it was also a bad one at the same time?
All skaters have had an element with a very wide range of GOE, so Ive wondered if the judge who is way different than the others ever has to demonstrate why they assign a very different score?
Ive seems some elements this season that went from -4 to +4 for the same element.
