How long do we have to wait for GP assignments?

Foot slipped away on the throw lutz, but great technical upgrade for Deanna and Max.

Little messy today as expected this early, but I cannot believe how much more polished they look. They’ve spent a time of time on their unison.
Agree - the throws weren't good today, but the rest is much improved. We'll have to wait and see how McIntosh/Mimar look, but right now, there's not much standing in their way of the Canadian title, IMO.

My one ask is please ditch the forward outside death spiral. Or fix the position. Because it ain’t cute and IIRC, got negative GOE pretty often last season.

Their death spiral on replay looked super cool. From the tracker it had a level 4 and a high GOE. I'm not at recognizing those elements but it looked super cool.

Dupuis started a little rough with a double lutz and a single flip. Managed a decent triple loop combo but then struggled on the triple flip and the second triple loop. Nice double axel combo though. And a really nice triple sal as her last jumping pass. She was much better obviously at the Next Gen event.

Shi had some nice moments in her program but a few stumbles. The opening double axel triple toe was very nice. She tried the triple loop with both hands over head but fell. Did a double axel euleur triple sal late in the program too, not quite there.

Wow Foster opened with a huge triple lutz with arm over head but she had trouble controlling the landing. Nice triple flip combo. Nice triple sal euleur double sal. Triple toe single toe (going for a triple triple?). Short on the triple loop and a single axel and later a double sal. Kind of slow on her final spin. I really like her, though she had some inconsistent results last season. She might not get a JGP this year but would love to see her get more international chances. ETA 91 points for that was good considering the pops.

Théroux had an up and down skate but she did land a double axel triple toe and triple lutz double toe late in the program (after doubling her first one). her TES is over 50 on the tracker (before the final element). A good competition for her. Will be interesting to see who gets the last 3 JGP assignments. Hopefully Skate Canada will add additional junior assignments to their calendar. The feed cut before the score! I'm sure she's first though.

I was watching on my phone, which makes posting difficult, but I did manage to catch most of the last group.

That was a really nice skate by Rose Theroux! I would like to see her work on her posture and on really stretching her limbs, particularly her free leg, but she has a nice style and presented the program well. She also had some ambitious tech content in the 2nd half.

(@danafan I think she had 94 in the LP and 153 overall.)

Thanks @JoannaLouise
There's a glitch on the results page with the junior group 1 protocols for the free skate and final results linking to the senior women. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Deanna and Max are really starting to gel as a team. Did they fall on their choreography sequence? They had -GOE.
1 fall deduction for S/D was on the throw 3F; their choreo sequence ended up with +GOE.

I love Deanna Stellato, and I continue to be in disbelief at her incredible physical conditioning. That said -- I'm not seeing the huge improvement in this pair. She has always struggled with throws, and she and Deschamps were 0/3 on the throws here. Maybe they can have a Savchenko/Massot-like awakening, where the throws turn from a mess into beautiful overnight. Here's hoping. The side-by-side triple toes look good, but the salchows looked pretty hopeless. With the sequence penalty gone, I wonder if 2A+2A+2T might be a better bet for them?
