Actor George Gaynes has died at age 98. He starred in all seven Police Academy movies and many of television's most popular shows. I loved him in everything I saw him in. He was also in the Royal Navy during WW2. May he rest in peace.

He also was in several Mel Brooks movies & was hysterical in Tootsie. I also loved him in everything I saw him in. RIP

I honestly only remember him from "Tootsie" but I think the point is that he was so good that I knew who he was decades later from one performance. Now that is good acting. RIP.

Funny I saw Police Academy on TV the other day (the first one). The podium scene - very good at deadpan.
