2026 Europeans - Women SP - "Welcome to Meh-field"

After the jump error, she totally checked out. 0 expression.

Change Foot Combo Spin 3
2A - tight rotation
Flying Camel Spin 3

Sit Spin 4
Step Sequence 3

That was a rough skate all-around. Missed the timing on the opening jump of the combo, couldn't hold the landing, but had to try to go for a triple on the second jump to salvage any value.

-1.00 = Falls
40.51 = 2nd Place

Also Siggi: "Als erste zu starten ist auch ein Nachteil, denn die Preisrichter müssen sich erst einpegeln."

He probably meant to say: "Being first is quite a disadvantage, for the judges yet have to find their common ground for the scores", but "einpegeln" colloquially also translates to "getting drunk". :40beers:

Katinka was interesting. And apparently skating to game music which means I’ve no idea what the story is.

Clearly happy with her performance, and she delivered some solid elements but a couple of errors, and lower technical value will make it difficult to make the free skate.

45.93 = 1st Place

Big performance quality, but the elements were sloppy, and an unfortunate fall in her step sequence.

She never connected to her music, despite what she said in the K&C

That was a bit all over the place. High energy programs run the risk of getting away from the skater as they try to keep up to the music, and that's what happened here today.

43.76 = 2nd Place

came too late for the first group but now watched the skaters. Elizaveta was a lot of fun. and that from me who DESPISES Sing sing sing.

You reminded me a bit of Misha Ge with her exuberance.

Jogaile AGLINSKYTE

At first I thought Chris would avoid saying her name by saying "the Lithuanian" but than he whispered some sort of a name

3lutz fall
2axel nice
3flip 2toe

I like her skating style a lot - it is sort of edgy and aggressive

such a pity about the lutz
it should still lead - all in all it was a great program apart from the lutz

Did well to get the combination in, but the program lost something after the mistake.
