2025 Skate America Pairs Free - Slay Something (I'm Giving Up On You)

Remember I'm British. We do something wrong and then we get called out and pushed to resign :slinkaway
Yes, but in politics, it's not because anyone is sorry, or thinks the bad behaviour is wrong, it's just an excuse for their backbiting rivals to push them down. So (unless things are much more vicious behind the scenes than I think) FSU mods actually have way more integrity.

You knew that performance was going to be good when she had +3 wedgie.

By the time this gets to the Olympics, this is going to be so good.

Gladiator was a real cultural moment of a film in the early 2000s.

The eighth grade social studies teacher at my middle/high school looked like Russel Crowe. We called him Mr. Maximus for years.

Pandering to the Olympic audience, I'm sure.
Like several other Japanese skaters this season...
And Rakhmanin's hair is awful and distracting. It's nicely faded on the sides; he just needs to do something different with the top of it.
Yes - it's just a really dated hair style, IMO, and that's what makes it distracting. As someone else pointed out, shades of Trankov, who won Olympic gold 20 years ago...
ETA: I was wrong. She did NOT keep it together enough to get credit for the sequence. It will be 3T(< probably) + SEQ.
If only the tech panel had the nerve to call it...

Yikes. Golden opportunity squandered with both SBS jumps missed. They'll get a +REP. Oh, and now a botched lift. Disaster. They will probably deserve to go behind Laurin and Ethier in the free if the judges don't prop them up with PCS. Awful death spiral. Did it even get low enough?

Arrrggggg...It doesn't matter how good you are, you've got to show it when it counts. They need to have a long reflection about this skate and being competitive.
