2025 Skate America Mens Short - Quadless in Lake Placid

Just curious but what is the medical condition that Grassl has? I have noticed since his return to competition that he has various involuntary muscle movements, most often one side of his mouth and his shoulders and hands which he clasps together when in the kiss and cry. Perhaps a condition or a reaction to medication taken for some condition?
He had that before. I always figured it was just a nervous twitch.

Have I mentioned how much I hate this baggy tunic Memola's wearing? It looks like he's got it tucked in on the back and is wearing it loose on the front and it just looks awful. Which is, perhaps, a reflection, also, of his jumps today.

Hoo, that was rough. I thought last year's programs did a better job showing off those long, long lines.

Struggling to get the quadruple flip out in competition, and the rest of the skating is not strong enough to compensate.

Memola is one of the better skaters when it comes to getting/expressing emotions in a Tosca program. Not sure anyone should skate to it, TBH. It takes some life experience to really GET it.

I spent half his skate trying to figure out if it was supposed to be tucked in and had come loose or if this was really the intended look.

I believe he would had shared it in one of the interviews if he wanted people to know

I'm so glad I'm not the only person this was driving nuts.
I griped about it during the SCI SP too, but it really is just a terrible look and I'm perfectly okay with hitting my middle-aged, old biddy stride and yelling at the TV "tuck in your shirt!"
