2025 Skate America Mens Free - Pope Dies Last

I remember seeing Economides for the very first time some while ago and, for some reason, thinking he was going to be kind of "voidy" skater but, no, that hasn't happened. Well, unless you count the cartwheel in Claire De Lune .....:confused:

I don't think the program is that bad - but it is a HUGE departure from what he usually gives us and I think that, plus the odd shirt design distracting us all doesn't give us a chance to properly appreciate the program itself.

Poor Luc, he’s certainly better than this skate.
Nice to see Florent.

This is exactly how a version of Claire de Lune would sound if it was commissioned by the Calm app.

I want to know what that necklace means! Luc has one, Malinin has one, and there are a few other skaters do too--what does it mean? Is it a cult and can I join it? That's kind of a bucket list item.
It's from a Japanese company. I think it's supposed to be for good luck.

Luc demonstrates more fluidity in the performance, and some nice musicality, but he's all over the place in the jumps, and almost every landing was messy.

129.38 = 1st Place
201.36 = 1st Place

Liam's shirt is tame compared to what we've got coming up in the next group of men, folks!

Liam's gutting out these jumps, but I'm glad to see him standing everything up tonight so far.

I feel like men's is the discipline where you most see the separation between early and late groups. The early group skaters just have this choppiness.
