I can't focus on Luc's skating because I'm trying to figure out what's going on with his shirt. It looks like there are both shoulder pads and some sort of weird padding in the arms/chest area as well.

It has some very unusual draping going on

Many have skated to Clair de Lune. Few have looked good doing so.

I remember seeing Economides for the very first time some while ago and, for some reason, thinking he was going to be kind of "voidy" skater but, no, that hasn't happened. Well, unless you count the cartwheel in Claire De Lune .....

I don't think the program is that bad - but it is a HUGE departure from what he usually gives us and I think that, plus the odd shirt design distracting us all doesn't give us a chance to properly appreciate the program itself.

Claire De Lune is a perfect song, imo. I think it only works when you skate perfect, too. Or close to it.

Luc demonstrates more fluidity in the performance, and some nice musicality, but he's all over the place in the jumps, and almost every landing was messy.

129.38 = 1st Place

I feel like men's is the discipline where you most see the separation between early and late groups. The early group skaters just have this choppiness.
